Theme: HR Ascend: Elevating Practices Through Legal Updates, Data Privacy, and Wellbeing-Centric Leadership
In today's dynamic public service landscape, HR professionals are at the forefront of ensuring efficient, compliant, and employee-centric operations. This convention is designed to equip our participants with the latest knowledge and practical skills necessary to navigate the complexities of modern public administration. More specifically the convention aims to:
· provide comprehensive discussion on the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 12009 or the New Government Procurement Act, ensuring compliance and efficiency in government transactions;
· deepen understanding of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implications for HR practices, safeguarding sensitive employee information;
· disseminate and clarify recent CSC updates, including but not limited to the implementation of flexible work arrangements, wearing of Filipiniana every Monday, and other pertinent policy updates affecting public sector HR management;
· introduce and foster the concept and practice of Wellbeing-centric Leadership, emphasizing the importance of employee mental health and holistic development; and
· facilitate knowledge sharing and networking among HRMPs across the region.
